This week Safety Technology has announced their new joint venture with Grimsby based HCF CATCH, to offer industry required safety training to Wind Energy companies in the Humber region.

VISIT FROM MINISTER FOR SAFETY TECHNOLOGY AND LYIT OPERATIONS IN KILLYBEGS

This month Irish Minister, Simon Coveney, visited Letterkenny Institute of Technology’s (LYIT) Killybegs Campus, to mark the dramatic developments in Wind Energy safety training by the college and their training partners Safety Technology Ltd.

He praised the collaboration and work with Safety Technology Ltd in the delivery of RenewableUK and GWO approved  courses, and suggested that the model being rolled out by LYIT, Donegal County Council and industry was one that he would like to see replicated in other regions. 

The LYIT Wind Energy Centre is the only one of its kind in Ireland with this level of accreditation.
